Let’s Drink!

Moving here and growing into my role at Bateaux Cellars sparked a desire to learn: how grapes are grown, wine is made, what makes it taste so good (or not), and how to best incorporate it into my daily drinking and eating.

So I started wine school, working my way through the WSET courses via the Wine and Spirit Archive in Portland and currently hold my WSET Level 2 with Merit certificate.

Bringing wine experiences to others through private tastings, food pairings, social gatherings, or formal educational events is right up my alley. I love sharing and teaching and watching people experience something new.

    Class is in session! Pack your bags! Wine School is a fun way to deepen your knowledge of wine. Join us for Wine Tasting 101 to learn all about the basics like body, tannin, acidity, and more!

    Rather go on vacation? Pack your bags as each month we head somewhere new to learn about the geography, terroir, and varietals grown there - and taste the wine, of course!
